I am really loving the gold ink on the dark background. Oh, and that fly tote? Sold in a etsy minute...go figure, I haven't sold anything hardly all month.

I had a chance to have one last breakfast with Tessa before she heads over to Iraq for her second tour. Damn,  I will miss her.
But I do feel good knowing that Iraq has her..maybe some of her lovely spirit will rub off on the desert sands and fall into the eyes of all the people suffering there.

Today I got laid off.....

Early this summer my friend send me an e-mail that she gets about the astrological world and what is happening among the stars. This publication is not a horoscope. Its more about the whole world really. One of the things it mentioned was that everything was gonna be kinda slow and it wold be hard to push things into action during these summer months. That is, until Aug. 20th. After Aug. 20th things are going to be coming to fruition, moving things forward will be easier. I am no astologist, I really don't spend a lot of time reading about the stars but I did think this was kinda interesting. I have noticed too that when I ask people stuff like, "When?" the answer as been,
Aug. 20th, or Aug, 18th.

For instance, Vin gets sentenced on the 20th, my work is starting meetings on the 20th.

We have been waiting to start our Kitchen remodel...it will be around the 20th.

I just have a feeling that after the 20th things are going to get really busy. The presidential election is going to be in full swing...already the shit has been flying (did you happen to see Paris Hilton's little video in response to McCain's ad?  Funny shit).

Anyway, this is what I have been thinking lately.
